We supply special holiday baskets for all our needy parishioners and other people in the area.

Ministers to the Sick

Ministers to the Sick


The Ministers to the Sick bring the Sacred Body of Christ to the homes of parishioners who are too sick to attend mass on Sunday.

They also bring communion to community agencies such as nursing homes, hospitals and retirement villages.

Parish Club Photos


The Parish Club, composed of parishioners, which was formed to assist the pastor and the whole community of St Joseph. It holds several functions during the year to raise money for various tasks:

  • Supplying the food baskets for the less fortunate in our community at Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter.
  • Offering support for the Alpha Center, a home for unwed mothers.
  • Helping support youth religious education programs of the parish.
  • Assisting choir and music programs of the parish.
  • Maintenance of the parish hall, kitchen, and other buildings.
  • Supplying paper goods, coffee, tea, and drinks, used at various events.
  • Running the coffee & doughnut program, after mass on Sundays.

Most of the members are involved in the many ministries of St. Joseph Parish. More volunteers are needed to help us in these endeavors.

Prayer Chain

You can request to be placed on the Prayer Chain, or you can pray for each person on the chain for 2 weeks.

Religious Education

Religious Education


Religious Education at Saint Joseph of the Forest Mission is faith formation in the Catholic Faith: for students from kindergarten thru 8th grade.

With the help of parents we teach our students about God and his love.

Sacristans

Sacristans


The Sacristans prepare the altar for Mass and then after mass they get it ready for the next mass.

UshersandGreeters

Ushers and Greeters


The Greeters meet the parishioners at the door and welcome them to the church.

The ushers help the people inside to find seats and also they take up any collections that are required.
